Hitting a baseball/softball is a hard thing to do. Don't make it any tougher on yourself by trying to do too much. In other words, don't over swing. This is the biggest fault in most young and even experienced hitters. Swing easy with your hands and you will have more success.
Flexibility is an important part of being a good baseball/softball player. Remember to stretch before throwing and before games and practices. Also, try to spend 5-10 minutes every night stretching out all parts of your body. This will allow your body to perform up to its full potential.
Practice is essential to building endurance and muscle memory.
